- We learned about Carnaval in Belgium and Portugal :

 - And the German Maypole.

We had worked before on the annual Telethon event (charity marathon to raise money to cure genetic deseases), on which occasion we take part in a parade.

Carnival (Fasching) in Germany

 The "crazy days" of carnival are at the peak of interest. From Maundy Thursday until carnival's Tuesday there are many big parties throughout Germany. We also had a carnival-party at school in Hiltenfingen and all pupils and teachers had a masquerade. Have a look!





Carnival in Aalst

In 2010 carnival in Aalst is known as 'cultural world heritage'.
