The Project

Wide Out Windows wants to open the eyes of children of both nursery and primary school for similarities and differences between countries in Europe. Look out of the windows and get to know the habits and folklore in several European countries.
In this project we share elements of feasting, traditional stories, clothes, houses and food.
Dare looking further than your garden and open your window for Europe, it is worth it!           Within the first year of this project, we intend to share by means of the “presentation” some words and short songs in the native tongues of our partners, and we would like to learn how to locate them on the map. Then, we will find out about their favourite holidays and stories.
          During the project’s second year, we will learn things about the clothing, dwelling and food of our European partners.
          The final products (the project web site, the game table, the setting up of ”WOW Europe Day’’) will be excellent opportunities to show the teachers in other schools, the parents and the local community that Europe is a large, happy “family”.
